18th IUVSTA International Summer School on Physics at Nanoscale
We would like to bring to your attention the next round of the IUVSTA summer school series on Physics at Nanoscale which will be held from 8th to 10th June 2021.
The school traditionally provides a place where students and young researchers can learn from invited leading scientists, discuss their own research plans and link to each other. The school usually takes place in the relaxing environment of the Czech-Moravian highlands, halfway between Prague and Brno, however this time it will be held online. Participants can meet at several hubs distributed over Europe, depending on the local pandemic rules.
The school aims at presenting current trends of research at both tutorial as well as state-of-the-art level. The school will also connect the fundamental research to the vital areas of technology: nano-electronics, photonics and renewable energy.
Where and when possible, students will create meeting hubs for attending the lectures together and for teaming up with colleagues. The panel of hubs at various European locations (Prague, Brno, Vienna, Zurich, Lausanne, Grenoble and Lisbon) is the optimum compromise for students meeting each other and pandemic limitations.
